The third “Flower of Maturity” edition is over—exceptional women honored at the Grand Finale Gala.
On Sunday, 31 August, at the Arche Hotel Krakowska in Warsaw, the Grand Finale Gala of the nationwide project “Kwiat Dojrzałości 2025” took place. This is the third edition of this unique initiative, aimed at promoting the activity and agency of women of pre-retirement and retirement age.
This year’s edition brought top titles to two extraordinary women: Izabela Szymczak from Magdalenka won the title “Kwiat Dojrzałości 2025” in the 60+ category, while Monika Szczepanik from Radom was honored as “Kwiat Dojrzałości 2025” in the 50–60 age bracket.
The “Kwiat Dojrzałości” project is the first initiative of its kind in Poland, created for mature women who want to grow, fulfill their dreams, and take an active part in social life. The project’s main goals include strengthening self-worth, creating a space to exchange experiences, and inspiring action—regardless of one’s life stage.
24 participants qualified for the finale—selected from nearly 200 women who took part in castings organized in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Częstochowa, and Chicago. Importantly, the finalists also included representatives of the American Polonia: Katarzyna Bork and Halina Bielowicz.
The Grand Finale Gala attracted over 200 guests, and each participant had the chance to present herself in several stage looks. The audience could admire shows featuring participants from the project wearing T-shirts and bags from the Lena Grochowska Foundation, looks prepared by Beata Romanek (Beassima), a collection by NikolaB, and elegant evening gowns from the Forever Łopuszańska showroom in Warsaw, as well as appearances in beautiful handmade crowns from Korona Mocy.
Artistic performances also elevated the evening: on stage, the Caro Dance team; vocalist Renata Dąbkowska sang her biggest hits—“Awaken me with your Venus” and “Red Mountain Ash”—known across Poland.
While the jury was counting votes, the audience had the chance to watch the unique performance “The Leper, Unloved” by the Lena Grochowska Foundation. The moving artistic show was enthusiastically received and perfectly matched the message of the gala.

The gala was hosted by Ewa Mielnicka, Miss Polski 2014. Showcase choreography was created by Iwona Orzełowska, founder of the Caro dance
